Ski patrol veteran Lori Spence on being the first woman to lead Aspen Highlands Ski Patrol

Lori Spence is the first woman to be director of the Aspen Highlands Ski Patrol and the second woman to be hired by Aspen Skiing Company as a patrol director at any of its four ski areas. Aspen Public Radio spent a day with Lori Spence and her avalanche dog, Meka, as Spence approached the end of her first full season in the new position.
