Shrove Tuesday 'cost of flipping crisis' as price of key Pancake Day ingredients rises 7% in a year due to inflation

Sugar and flour prices have gone up by 21 and 13 per cent respectively, according to analysis of ONS data by the Liberal Democrats. The cost of lemons and eggs has also gone up.
