Shoreline projects planned for Illinois Beach State Park

Illinois Department of Natural Resources officials announced a $74.5 million project to address shoreline erosion at Illinois Beach State Park, the state's only natural shoreline, on Thursday in what is believed to be the department's largest-ever capital project. Construction is slated to start this spring.
