A woman was arrested Friday nearly nine months after authorities say she struck and killed a man with her vehicle in Lincoln Heights.According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, on April 20, 2020, Kerwin Heard, 41, was found dead in the road on Van Buren Street in Lincoln Heights at around 1 a.m. Deputies learned Heard was struck and killed by a vehicle.Following an investigation, the sheriff's office discovered that Heard was "intentionally struck" by Shana Jackson, 35, as he walked on the sidewalk along Van Buren Street. Deputies said Jackson and Heard knew each other and had been involved in an argument before Heard was struck and killed by Jackson.The sheriff's office said after hitting Heard with her vehicle, Jackson "drove several hundred feet with him on the hood of her car before abruptly stopping and launching Heard onto the pavement where he struck his head and died from those injuries."Jackson was arrested Friday for aggravated vehicular homicide. She is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center where she awaits arraignment.Anyone who may have information on the incident is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety Unit at 513-825-1500.
