Several rural school districts across Texas forced to cancel classes due to latest COVID-19 surge

As they continue to deal with staffing shortages and student absences, some smaller Texas school districts are temporarily closing for at least a few days. Several are also taking advantage of the holiday weekend by staying closed through next week.
