Is it time for another industrial park in Seneca County?
The Industrial Development Agency is considering the matter at a meeting this week. It’s slated to take place at the IDA’s monthly meeting Thursday.
Deer Run Park on Auburn Road in Seneca Falls is the only industrial park right now.
“The IDA has been doing some preliminary work to find a new site for an industrial park,” Sarah Davis told the Finger Lakes Times. She serves as IDA executive director. “If the agenda item is approved, it will allow us to draft (a request for proposals) to have an engineering report done on potential sites to evaluate their feasibility for such things as access to infrastructure and zoning requirements.”
