Kota Kinabalu: A mobile phone trader who was once given a warning letter was fined RM1,000 for failing to comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) during the Movement Control Order (MCO), Thursday.
Sabah Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) Director Georgie Abas said the trader fail to provide a temperature scanner as well as did not keep records of his employees’ attendance via MySejahtera application or manually.
“The trader was compounded in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Regulations (Measures in Local Infected Areas) (Movement Control) 2021.
