Scores of younger children are lining up for COVID-19 vaccine

Inside a cubicle at AU Health System's Washington Square mass vaccination clinic, Jack and Alex Thompson of Evans stare at each other for a moment before Alex raises his hand to go first for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Alex, 13, gets the shot in his right arm while Jack, 14, opts for the left. It's not that Jack was worried about the shot, said their father, Ron Thompson.
"He saw me and my wife go through it so he is expecting the same reaction, which is not much," Ron Thompson said. In fact, the boys have been pushing to get vaccinated, he said.
