Sartell SummerFest returns with 'slightly' altered schedule and name

Sartell SummerFest will take place with an abbreviated schedule in June and a name to match: Slightly Summerfest.
The SummerFest volunteer committee announced the event on Monday.
It will take place from June 9 to 13 in Sartell.
This years festivities will include a citywide garage sale, the 5K Diaper Dash, mini-golf and other small events. Additional events will be shared through social media, a flyer mailed to residents and online at sartellsummerfest.com, according to a press release.
"As the months passed, it became obvious that loosening of executive orders was not going to be announced with enough time for us to coordinate, plan and execute our traditional SummerFest event. If we had known several weeks ago exactly what the conditions would be on June 12, we would’ve done everything possible to keep it 'normal' for our community," said the committee in a statement.
