Saratoga County Board of Supervisors breaks with tradition to elect new chairman

While it pales in comparison to the events in Washington Wednesday, there is controversy in Saratoga County as the Board of Supervisors has broken with tradition to elect a new chairperson.
On Wednesday, Theodore Todd Kusnierz was chosen to lead the board, bypassing Greenfield Supervisor Dan Pemrick, who was chair of the county’s Law and Finance Committee and the heir apparent to the chairmanship.
Kusnierz is part of the coalition of Northway towns who were unhappy about the county’s pandemic hazard pay.
