GRESHAM, Ore. -- The mayor of Sandy has filed a lawsuit against Governor Kate Brown.
Mayor Stan Pulliam was joined by business leaders and other groups as he announced his lawsuit, which looks to restrain Brown's COVID-19 Emergency Order, which was recently extended to June 28.
The lawsuit also aims to force the governor to hand over scientific data to prove why it's necessary to lock down businesses.
According to the lawyer representing the groups in the lawsuit, there are four plaintiffs, which includes The Heart of Main Street Coalition, The Oregon Moms Union, and the owner of the restaurant Spud Monkeys and her corporation.
