BHOPAL: A routine saas-bahu fight took a bloody turn in Jabalpur on Wednesday evening, when both allegedly slit each other’s throats.
The mother-in-law, 75-year-old Moga Bai, died. Accused Rekha is in hospital in a critical condition, as is her husband Rajendra, who had jumped into the middle of the slashing knives to stop the fight.
‘Saas-bahu fought often’
According to police, neighbours have said that saas-bahu used to fight very often. On Wednesday evening, they saw Rajendra running out of his house, covered in blood and clutching his neck to stop the bleeding. A few seconds later, Rekha staggered out, bleeding from the neck.
