Certainly there is it just, it takes talent and it takes somebody or some people or a network thats able to do it in a way thats entertaining and satirical and compelling and captivating. As the conservatives have been, it is, its healthier when the talk show host is attacking power as opposed to defending power. And this is just my own personal view of the responsibility of the media and the 1st amendment. So if you are, you know, independent citizen on the radio, doing a talk show and you are criticizing the most powerful person person in the western world, the president of the United States. There is something exciting and daring about that. When in fact though, youre on the public airwaves and you are defending the most powerful person in the world, it takes away the edginess and takes away that whole 1st amendment, freedom of speech, daring aspect of it. So thats why i always think its better for the opposition to be opposing the current president as opposed to defending the current president. It takes tremendous courage and if you look at it historically, when you look at it globally, just look at the world in the way things are standing up to power is always a dangerous thing.
