Ron Haque Shikder gets bail in attempt to murder case

DHAKA, Feb 12, 2021 (BSS) – A court here today granted bail to Sikder Group Managing Director Ron Haque Sikder in an attempt to murder case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Asheq Imam passed the order as police produced him before the court and pleaded to keep him behind the bars till the end of the investigation in the case. The defence, however, pleaded to grant him bail.
Detective branch (DB) of police arrested him this morning from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, shortly after landing here from Dubai.
Ron and his brother Dipu Haque Sikder allegedly assaulted and attempted to murder Exim Bank Managing Director (MD) Md Haider Ali Mia and Additional MD Md Firoz Hossain by shooting at them on May 7, 2020.
