RIO Ferdinand has praised his wife Kate for making him a “better man” following the death of his first wife Rebecca.
The former footballer met the ex Towie star shortly after Rebecca lost her battle to cancer at the age of 34 in 2015 and they have since gone on to get married and have a child together.

Just two years later he also lost his mum Janice, age 58, to cancer and he reached a very low point, which Kate helped him get out of.
