A Connecticut man who is accused of being part of a mob that pinned a police officer in a door frame during the break-in at the U.S. Capitol building last month has been indicted by a federal grand jury for the District of Columbia.
The new charges accuse him of assault on a second officer during the storming of the Capitol building, which means he could face more time in prison if convicted.
