The fun in the transfer portal is reportedly not over, folks!
According to a report by 247Sports Thursday morning, Penn State men’s basketball star Izaiah Brockington has reentered the portal. The junior guard
previously announced in March that he’d return to Happy Valley to play for Micah Shrewsberry. He was the first of the six players in the portal to decide to stay with the Nittany Lions.
Brockington’s earlier decision to play for Shrewsberry was a big one, especially considering he averaged 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game last season. The St. Bonaventure transfer started in all but one of Penn State’s games this year, and averaged 8.1 points in the season prior.
