MP Matt Rodda has taken on a new role as Shadow Pensions Minister.
The Reading East MP has been promoted from his role as Shadow Transport Minister for Buses to a place in the Department for Work and Pension shadow team.
He was re-elected in December 2019 as Reading East MP, defeating Conservative challenger Craig Morley.
Speaking to the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS), Mr Rodda said: “I am very pleased to have accepted this promotion.
“It is a bigger role than buses and local transport. I am honoured and delighted to be doing it.
