The RBI has announced the launch of its next-generation data warehouse Centralised Information Management System (CIMS). The system will first be used by commercial banks, followed by urban cooperative banks and non-banking financial companies. The CIMS will provide more data for public use and support online statistical analysis. It will also allow regulated entities access to their past data and quality assessment.
