Public appeal after high risk driving event in Lynbrook
Officers from the Cardinia Highway Patrol are appealing for public assistance to help identify several people after a police vehicle was damaged during a high risk driving event in Lynbrook last week.
The incident occurred on Business Park Drive and Commercial Drive about 11pm on Tuesday, 11 May.
The highway patrol officers were out patrolling as part of Operation Achilles when they observed a 2002 Holden Commodore allegedly perform burnouts next to a group of onlookers.
Police attempted to intercept the Holden, but the driver allegedly drove off at speed.
A number of onlookers then advanced towards the police car and stood in front of the vehicle, intentionally blocking its path.
