NDPP President extends welcome, to work with accommodative spirit Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct 27 (EMN): In a major boost to the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NDPP President Chingwang Konyak, prominent youth leader Vevoyi D Vadeo joined the ‘Globe’ party along with hundreds of workers from various political parties on Thursday morning. Sources confirmed to Eastern Mirror that the former president of Chakhesang Students Union (CSU) along with his team had joined the party at Pfutsero town in Phek district in a significant development for NDPP of the 17th Chizami Assembly Constituency (AC). It was informed that Vadeo joined the party in the presence of Konyak and other NDPP central and regional leadership, who were on their way to Phek as the NDPP president is set to tour Phek region and also inaugurate the NDPP Phek region office building-cum-party leaders meeting at Phek town hall later in the afternoon. The names and designations of the new members were yet to be divulged at the time of filing of this report, however, sources said that the party workers who joined the NDPP consist of NPF, BJP, RPP and NPP as well.
