Prince Charles has accepted another royal patronage vacated by his younger brother Prince Andrew in the wake of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Charles, 72, agreed to become the palace promoter of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra after Andrew, 61, stepped away from royal life due to his ties to Epstein, the disgraced financier accused of underage sex trafficking in the U.S.
“The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is delighted to announce that The Prince of Wales has accepted an invitation to become the Orchestra’s Patron,” the Royal Philharmonic announced Tuesday.
