So these trucks are not just trucks, they are a lifeline, they are the difference between life and deaths for so many people in gaza, and to see them stuck here makes me be very clear, what we need is to make them move, to make the move to the other side of this wall, to make them move as. Quickly as possible and as many as possible. The terror trucks carrying International Aid for gaza should be rolling in the next day or so. Some 175 louries filled with vital medicine, food and water are waiting at the rafa crossing. Israel has cut off the supply of electricity, water, fuel and medicines into the territory. According to gazas ministry of health, seven main hospitals are now out of service. The un says more than 1 million of gazas 2 th Million People are displaced with the humanitarian situation beyond catastrophic and deteriorating daily. The israel regime is also cracking down against palestinians in the occupied west bank where troops are rated refugee camp. At least 13 palestinians were killed in the raid on the camp in the city of total. Thats according to the Palestinian Health ministry. Five of those killed are children. Israeli forces arrested around 50. As well, troops also conducted raids in other parts of the west bank in the past 24 hours, including in the cities of alkalil and baitleyam. Tensions have remained high in the occupied west bank as palestinians are outraged to the Israeli Regimes ongoing war in the gaza strip. More than 80 palestinians have lost their lives in the west bank since the gaza war broke out on october 7. Lah khalid, one of the iconic faces of the Palestinian Resistance gave. An interview to press tv, shes a member of the popular front for the liberation of palestine. Laila joined the struggle for the liberation of palestine in her 20s. She is now in her late 70s and is still fighting against Israeli Occupation through her activism. Lets see what she had to say. Now the israel is from them, they occupied palestine inland till orson after 1967. The resistance was there even my woman women in palestine they were not standing the. Putting explosives and at the stations and and and they were centers for life, of course every action should use on the tactics to promote the revolution, to be nearer to liation, so in every era of the study you. Have tactics and you have the strategy, then in 1987, the intifada broke out, this is new stage of our revolution, that the people went to streets to face the army with all its any their weapons, but our children were facing also the army of israel. And it took about six years, unfortunately the leadership of plod by arafat went to negotiations, we were against that, but and he was supported by the arabs also to go for negotiations and to signs afterwards, this now we ended up for with the ultifather who raised the slogan freedom and independence and if it went back and if arafat and his, allies, we could have done that, because the army began to shake the israeli army, they are following children, some of them committed. Suicide, but it was a historical inteifada even the world intifada was in all languages intifather, they did nobody changed it, and that was also another era of liberation movement. We going to question over now live to new york, there is a propalestine rally thats taking place there, lets see whats actually. Going down uh in new york, new york has been the scene uh of pro palestine valleys, this is not the first time uh since the operation alas of flood broke out on october the 7th, so new yorkers have come out in support of palestinians, register and vote, register and vote, register and vote, thank you. And our next speaker is lean from the Peoples Forum free palestine free palestine free palestine free palestine, brothers and sisters, im seeking you today full of the same indescribable pain that i ensure that every Single Person here, witnessing the mass martierdom of our. They are Beautiful People who the only, the only reason why they are facing un the unleashed violence of imperialism is because they dare to take their right to resist, but i am also speaking to you full of grace, full of commitment and full of hope, because even though this false president of the american people, biden, comes up every other day, telling the world that the american the entire police force, the entire capitalist Media Institution have tried to keep us down, but instead we are out, we were out in 20,000 last friday, and we will be out every single day, until not only the genocide stops, but until the occupation falls, because all right, lets uh get an ideas to what were looking at. Colin camboll is our correspondent joining us to explain to us uh whats going on there in new york out in the rain there uh colin, so were looking at this propalestine rally in new york, not the first, but uh, the lady that was speaking said, were going to be out here every day, uh, making our voices heard, what can you tell us about this particular rally and more . Well, this rally is not like, unlike many others that are trying to bring attention to the plight of palestinians and how theyve been on under occupation for many, many years, as we know, as many of the viewers know, that pales that ghaza and uh, where the area where palestinians live has been described as the largest open air prison, where their movements are restricted, what they eat is restricted, their media, their literature is restricted, their movements all together are just contained and just prohibited from going uh as they like, and now theyve been bombarded in that area, theyve lost hundreds and these are family members, these are loved ones who are no longer on this earth, and this is not to call attention or to detract from other violence that has gone on in that region um from militants, but this is to show that really that palestinians really deserve to have some type of autonomy, some type of freedom, and i think thats what these protests are really calling a. Attention to, of course, the humanitarian crisis is growing there with hospitals that running just on fumes with just few hours left until their energy runs out, and people who are dependent on systems supported by hospitals, well then their life is also being threen, so we have this existential fear and this existential concern coming from protesters who are marching, protesting, demonstrating who are outraged on behalf of palestinians who may not have a voice or. May feel defenseless under all of the violence thats happening in the places where they live. Uh, i dont know if you can answer this or not, but i mean, when you take a look at the protests that have broken out in the us, uh, that is, since the operation of flood happened, and then you compare it to the past, when protest took place, propalestine protest, it seems like this time uh, theres a lot more people out there, and uh, the volume of people and the number of protests are lot. Larger, is that is that how you see it also . Yeah, ive been able to cover few of the protests here in washington dc, and not just the protests that have happened within the past week, but some that have occurred during this year, and you are seeing more people out there, youre seeing more passion, thats one of the things that i noticed, Walking Around and trying to talk to people, you see some people who uh, if they are not fearful of any type of retribution, they are very open, very frank and very. Honest about how they feel about the situation happening in gaza and how they fear for the lives of palestinians and where they will be going forward, whats their placement going to be in their land . Is it going to be uh shrunken or decreased even more . They already are fearful of the numbers of palestinians who have already lost their lives, and of course the complicitness of many of the western countries were not really coming to the defense of palestinians who dont have. Weapons who are not militants, who are just defenseless innocent people trying to live their ordinary lives, but being caught up in a lot of violence, and im looking at this particular development, and im and im wondering, what do you think about it, colin, where you have uh, staffers at senator elizabeth Warrens Office, uh, they signed an open letter where they call for a ceasefire, 260 of them, and uh, the language is pretty interesting, the us cannot continue. To give a blank check to the increasingly fascist israeli as they call government to commit war crimes and to continue to enforce the brutal apartite settler colonial regime, mean the type of language coming which if if that doesnt uh arouse you then its the fact that its coming from elizabeth Warrens Office uh so this has crept all the way up to uh you know the us lawkers i mean this is not something that we would see 10 years ago would we in terms of uh the level of awareness thats come uh americans and their psych when it comes to palestine . Yeah, and thats why studying media right now is quite fascinating, and that is lot doing part to social media, even though if you were to critique western media, of course here in the United States, you may see that it is biased and that there isnt enough coverage of whats happening to palestinians a daily basis, but because of social media, more people are aware, so youre not getting this blanket widespread support. Of israel and what its doing to palestinians, youre now starting to hear more nuanced voices, even coming from israelis themselves, or people who identify as jewish themselves, who are not in agreement with israel or their military and what theyre doing to palestinians, theyre being more forceful, theyre being more frank, theyre being more bold, of course, i do want to say that with caviot, there are still a lot of fearful people here, we have seen people who speak in support of palestinians lose their jobs. Who have been marginalized, quite recently there was a case where uh some students, i believe at Harvard University were sanctioned, or they they lost their jobs or the prospect. Of jobs, there have been students who have been threatened uh to be kicked out of their schools or schools have been threatened to be defunded if they are uh and supported palestinians, so theres a lot of fear going around here uh for those who support palestinians, but then those who uh are able to overcome their fear or those who are unafraid, they are speaking more boldly about the oppression, about the disparities that are happening uh among palestinians and youre getting that through uh senator. Office, someone who has been considered more on the Progressive Side than say current President Joe Biden who we just heard this week ask uh congress for billions of dollars to uh to continue the ongoing uh military campaign uh between uh ukraine and russia and of course between israel and gazans uh the war on gazans where you have uh innocent people are being affected by this and so youre getting backlash from this because theyre saying well if the us just going to continue funding this with billions of dollars, what chance do palestinians who are unarmed, who are innocent civilians, what chance do they have to return to their lands, to live peaceful life, uh, to have some type of normalcy that many of us here in the west enjoy. Thank you for that. Colin camble there from washington dc. Thank you colin. Lets continue with some news. Palestinian resistance groups have launched more. Attacks against israel, retaliation for the regimes bombardment of the gaza strip. The military wing of hamas resistance movements, thedin alqasan brigades launched missiles at the city of tel aviv. Israeli military positions in alqs were also targeted. Hamas that previously stated that it can target anywhere in the israeli territories. Palestinian resistance fighters entered the gaza envelope area on october 7th following missile strikes on israeli targets under the operation alasa flood. At least 1500. Have been killed and nearly 500 injured since then. Amas says it launched a military campaign responds to repeated israeli desiquation of alas amask and the regimes crimes and aggression throughout the decades. People across the globe have held demonstrations in a show of support for palestinians in the ghaza strap. Took to the streets of the capital sana condemning israel for its crimes and calling for International Action to stop the onslot in gaza. People in baghdad held a rally as well, slamming washingtons support for tel aviv. Protesters in morocco also express solidarity with palestinians. Iranians filled the streets in different cities, including the capital tehran and the holy city of mashad. Similar rallies were held in dozens of other cities across the globe with demonstrators demanding immediate end to the gaza siege. That stop to the aggression. Mother, the symbol of love and peace. She cannot stay at home and be a bystander when she sees the disturbing images of murdered children. So, iranian mothers with their children gathered at mothers square in tehran to express sympathy with palestinian mothers and children. They say that the only thing they can do today. Is to come to the streets and beat the voice of the oppressed. بچه هایی که بیدار میشن و خونه های آوار شده. We have witnessed heartbreaking scenes in the past few days such as children waking up to find their homes destroyed and searching for their mothers. During these moments all we could do was cry. Perhaps these gatherings can help awaken public conscience and draw the worlds attention to gaza. I asked her why she has brought her daughter to this gathering. I brought my daughter because i think that from this age she should be able to develop a sense of sympathy so that when she reaches adulthood, she will not be indifferent to what is happening in the world. I asked her how she felt about the recent events in palestine as mother . Tears weld up in her eyes. We have come here today to support the Palestinian People who are being martyred. We cannot watch our brothers and sisters in gaza being unjustly martyred and remain in. Others around the world play a significant role in teaching their children about the palestinian cause guys, the ones for a minister has compared the atrocities committed by the Israeli Regime to those carried out by the primitive terrorist groups like daesh homir abdul condemned the israeli bombing of Greek Orthodox gaza church where at least 500 muslims and christians were taking shelter. At least 16 people were reportedly killed. Amir abraham said israel aggression, the desecration of divine religious religions and attacks on humanities and cultural and historical heritage, echoterrorist actions. Israel has a long history of bombing religious and civilian infrastructure. South koreans have also held a demonstration in the capital soul in a show of solidarity with palestinians in the war hitza. Or correspon of frank smith was present at the rally and gives us details about that. This is just near the soul central mosk. Todays demonstration is much larger than previous ones that that ive attended here. There are about 500 people here. Their rally began at the moss, they came here into italian, its an International Sort of district in south korea, and from here theyre going to march behind me, down the street behind me to the south queen president ial office. Want to apply more pressure on the south korean president , to perhaps pressure the us being a a main ally of south korea and get uh President Joe Biden to perhaps exert some pressure on israel to change their behavior. Theyve also been giving out these leaflets here. Part of the rallyers goals are are to affect Public Opinion to to share some information with people and here you have map of palestine from 1947. And then how you see it today, far different as it explains the the spread of israeli settlements and hopefully people will get more information that they perhaps dont get through what what especially people here see as as a biased media and one of the things that that i think really is kind of uh affected a change here is is what happened uh just a couple of days ago with the strike taking place in the hospital at the hospital in in gaza uh even south Koreas Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern regarding uh the civilian casualties that were uh mounting and said that they wanted to pursue a peaceful resolution, although south korea is a strong ally of the United States president has stopped short of really expressing outward support uh of israel instead again calling for a peaceful cessation of hostilities here the. Asking for uh israel to stop bombing gaza to cancel their invasion and again expressing their support to palestinians under sie. Resistance mubed says it has targeted three israeli bases with precision guided munitions. In a statement said the strikes took place in kaf shuba and shaba farms region. It said all the strikes at the designated targets. This came after israel carried out. Attacks on southern lebanon. The area has witnessed exchanges of fire since the 8th of october, the day after major palestinian operation against israel. The recent clashes between Israeli Forces and hezbollah fighters have left over dozen people dead. Early on friday, israel said that it will evacuate the town of kiriot, schmona near the lebanese border. And that does the world news coming up at the top the hour recap of the top. Stories for now its goodbye, crisis, devastating wars, terrorism, the israeli lobby. Crackdown, diplomacy, gaza under attack, make sure to join the show through facebook, twitter, only on press tv. Hussein and ibrahim are standing on the ruins the house overlooking the school in the Northern Gaza Strip town of beid hannun. The israelis rounded them up and killed 16 of them where they stood, mostly children, and wounded more than 55 others. The children were playing in the street, some were playing on the swings. We were surprised by the explosion, but when we turned round we saw the children had become shreds of flesh laying in the street, some were injured and some others were dead. My uncle shaban, jamal and muhammad were among those who died. Every child of palestine now carries with them memories of explosions, of screams of horror by the inhumane, unconchionable actions of israel. The ways that the Israeli Occupation is using to fight against education in palestine are not limited to the prevention of building and developing the educational institutions. When the Israeli Occupation bombs empty ajacken places, this destroys the classrooms. Despite the hard conditions and the crippling sie on gaza, i advise all male or female students who study at university to continue with studying, we are nation that deserves to live indeed. Israels strikes on the bassige gaza strip continue to claim more lives as the regime maintains its genecidal policy. The regimes bloody onslot has killed over 4100 palestinians since october the 7th.
