SURAT: PP Savani School of Engineering, a constituent institute of PP Savani University, stationed at Kosamba, organised four-day faculty development program on 'Green Chemistry and Technology for sustainable engineering' from January 18 to 21, 2021 through online mode.
The FDP covered the topics such as density functional theory study on conversion of levulinic acid to value added chemicals in supercritical water, environmentally friendly membrane processes in separation, bio-inspired synthesis of nano-catalysts and their applications and green solvents applications for environmental sustainability.
The FDP was graced by the experts from various institutes such as Dr Kishore Nanda, professor, chemical engineering department, IIT, Guwahati, Dr ZV P Murthy, HAG professor, chemical engineering department, SVNIT, Surat, Dr Kaustubha Mohanty, professor, chemical engineering department, IIT, Guwahati, Dr Swapnil Dharashkar, head, chemical engineering department, school of technology, Pandit Deedayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar and participants from various institute of repute across the nation were the beneficiaries of the seminar.
