Posts falsely claim trees unscathed in Canadian wildfires

Social media users claim footage of a wildfire engulfing a home while sparing trees in Kelowna, British Columbia proves residences are being intentionally targeted. This is false; vegetation has burned in the Canadian province, and experts say wood structures can sometimes burn faster because they contain less water.
