Possible resting place of Great Lakes' most iconic shipwreck unveiled with photos and new book

Members of Great Lakes Exploration Group say everything about this wreck they found in 2018 suggests it's a very old ship. They think it’s the French ship, The Griffin, which disappeared in 1679 bearing a load of furs across northern Lake Michigan.
The group searching for the remains of a 17th-century French ship says it has found what appears to be a colonial-era wreck in northern Lake Michigan.
