PM Imran Khan slams 'organised violence' by religious party, praises police force

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday paid tribute to the police force for braving violent protests across the country that saw four police officers martyred and over 600 injured.
Clashes erupted in Pakistan a few days ago as protests were organised by a banned religious party in various cities of the country.
"I want to pay special tribute to our police force for their heroic stand against organised violence intended to create chaos to blackmail government," tweeted the prime minister.
