Planning Board OKs special permit for proposed marijuana retailer on Worcester Street in Grafton

GRAFTON — The Planning Board on Monday unanimously approved a special permit for Discern’d Cannabis Purveyors, co-owned by former Selectman Bruce Spinney, which can now take a step forward in its plans for a proposed retail marijuana facility at 130-134 Worcester St.
The special permit is one of a number of approvals Spinney and co-owner Allan Villatoro need, including the final license from the state Cannabis Control Commission.
Spinney told the Planning Board he’d like to have the doors open sometime this summer once the state Cannabis Control Commission issues Discern’d a final retail marijuana license.
