Petland Charities Donates $25,000 to Local Shelters and Rescues

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio, Dec. 22, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Petland Charities is excited to provide much-needed funds to local shelters and rescues this holiday season.
Petland is presenting 25 locally-operated shelters and rescues in four states with $1,000 checks this week.
Petland Athens, OH General Manager Sally Jo Kuntz and Petland District Manager Nicole Soule present a $1,000 check to Ryan Gillette with the Athens County Dog Shelter. Gillette said the funds will be put into their sick and injured fund to offset the cost of medical treatments.
"2020 has been an incredibly challenging year for local shelters and we are so grateful for the opportunity to provide some relief to these organizations that are doing great work in the areas they serve," said Petland Charities Executive Director Steve Huggins.
