The Peterborough Petes organization is mourning this week after news that on of their propects has passed away.
Carter Schoonderwoerd died unexpectedly yesterday at the age of 19, while the team sent out their condolences on social media last night.
Schoonderwoerd was drafted in the 11th round of the OHL Priority Selection in 2018, and spent time with St. Mary’s and Stratford Jr. B programs in the GOJHL.
