The Ministry of Health (Minsa) on Friday received 330 mechanical ventilators donated by the Federative Republic of Brazil.
The sector's head Pilar Mazzetti welcomed this valuable contribution that will make it possible to strengthen health care services and continue facing the COVID-19 pandemic nationwide.
"Our countries are united by a deep friendship and the joint fight against this disease, in which Brazil has shown great solidarity with our people. We are thankful for everything you have done during the pandemic, and the equipment represents the opportunity for more people to stay alive," she expressed.
