Peru: President meets with Congress Board members | News | ANDINA

The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti held a meeting with members of the Board of Congress at the Government Palace in Lima on Tuesday.
Parliament head Mirtha Vasquez, as well as Deputy Chairs Luis Roel and Matilde Fernandez participated in this event.
In brief statements to the press given when leaving for the meeting, Roel said that it had been called by the Head of State.
According to the parliamentarian, the event would serve to address issues that are part of the concerns of Board members and also the acting president.
