The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has directed the newly appointed Soun of Ogbomosoland, Pastor Ghandi Laoye, to hand over to a new pastor in order to face his new assignment. Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State had last week approved the appointment of Laoye. The Soun-elect is also the Pastor-in-Charge of the RCCG Jesus House Parish, Washington DC, United States of America. He succeeds Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, who joined his ancestors in December 2021 at 95 after reigning for 48 years.
