HE SAYS CREWS NEED TO COMPLE ATE LOT OF WORK INCLUDING REPAIRING AND PAINTING THE 50-YEAR-OLD BRIDGE. ZANG SAYS PAINT IS A PROTECTNIO SYSTEM FOR THE STEEL. >> THE PAINT IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS THAT HWEAVE ON BRIDGES TO PROTECT THE SELTE FROM RUST. TURN LEFT ON NORTHBOUND ROUTE 51. ONCE THROUGH CORAOPOLIS, FOLLOW SIGNS TO ROUTE 65 SEWICKLEY, AND CROSS THE SEWICKLEY BRIDGE. THEN, TURN RIGHT ONTO SOUTHBOUND ROUTE 65, OHIO RIVER BOULEVARD. TAKE THE RAMP TO I-79 TORD ERIE/WASHINGTON. AT THE SPLIT, STAY STRAIGHT TOWARD NORTH 79 ERIE. FROM THERE, FOLLOW THE I-79 NORTH ERIE SIGN BY TURNING LEFT ONTO KILBUCK STREET. THEN TAKE THE RAMP TO NORTHBOU I-79 TOWARD ERIE. NOW IF YOU WANT TO AVOIDHE T DETOUR, DRIVERS ON NORTHBOUND I-79 MAY WANT TO U PARKWSE WEST TO I-279. THE PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO END IN 2023.
