Parma City Schools considering fourth quarter all-in instruction

However, such optimism is still tempered by the fact that COVID-19 continues to affect communities.
“While we’re considering a full return for the fourth quarter (beginning April 8), right now we’re quarantining dozens -- sometimes hundreds -- of students at a time,” Parma City Schools Superintendent Charles Smialek said.
“You look at our dashboard and we have more than 200 students in quarantine. So we definitely need to see a decrease in cases before we’d be able to really give serious consideration (to all-in instruction), but the ultimate goal would be to come back full-go for the fourth quarter,” he said.
