But before any new classrooms were built, or architect renderings completed, parents on the school run last week wanted parking to be a priority for the project.
Marlborough Girls’ College principal Mary-Jeanne Lynch said the “master planning” phase of the project allowed for ongoing discussion about how students could safely get to school.

“The school started in 1963, so at the time, the school was a lot smaller and there weren’t as many cars around, there wasn’t as much traffic and certainly students didn’t have cars,” Lynch said.
