ISIS is believed to have carried out a suicide bombing that killed at least 44 people and left more than 100 injured at a political convention of the conservative hardline Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl party in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The attack took place on Sunday when the party members had gathered for a meeting under a canopy in Khar, which borders Afghanistan.
