A man sexually assaulted and raped a 15-year-old girl during a weekend visit to south Wales, a court has heard.
Richard Norman Hampson had travelled to the Caerphilly area to see a friend for a couple of days.
During the trip he attacked a girl just days before she celebrated her 16th birthday – but the youngster had the presence of mind to ensure his DNA was preserved on her underwear.
