KUALA LUMPUR: Several participants of Saturday's black flag convoy have been summoned by police to have their statements recorded.
Activist Qyira Yusri said she received information that more than 20 participants were summoned by police following the convoy which took place in several parts of the country on Saturday (July 24).
She said among those summoned were Undi18 movement compatriot Tharma Pillai and Suara Rakyat Malaysia (Suaram) programme coordinator Mohammad Alshatri.
"Six protesters from today's Konvoi #LAWAN have been called to give their statements at IPD Brickfields tomorrow.
"Among them are @TharmaPillai and @matshatry," she tweeted on Saturday.
Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said police recorded the statements of three individuals on Sunday (July 25) in connection with the convoy.
