Sean Harris has waited over two decades to fulfill a dream he had when he was 19 or 20 while working at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. He vowed someday he would organize a Shakespeare festival.
As co-artistic director of Hartford’s Playhouse on Park, part of the Theatre Group, Inc., he is now getting to do just that. The group will present the inaugural season of the Connecticut Shakespeare Festival at Auerfarm in Bloomfield July 7 to Aug. 22.
