Orlando's support and talent bring 'Secret River' to life

When Opera Orlando debuts “The Secret River” this weekend, it will be mark an important milestone for the organization — and Central Florida. It’s the first time Opera Orlando has commissioned a new work to join the operatic repertoire, and it was all done with Central Florida in mind.“It’s an opera about our community, by our community,” said Opera Orlando managing director Gabriel Preisser.
