An uptick in Omaha shootings and gang violence has Omaha police concerned.

"This will not be tolerated, this type of violence," said Capt. Thomas Shaffer. "The city deserves better and we're not going to sit back and watch this happen."
Shaffer said the identified suspects of the three homicides are all also under 18.
On Thursday night, 17-year-old Ja'Vondre' McIntosh and Jiq'Quan Williams were gunned down at 29th and Pinkney.
