OnePlus has dropped support for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T, smartphones that were launched in 2018 and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood. The smartphones received Android OS and security updates for three years before OnePlus discontinued support. Technically adept users can install third-party custom ROMs like LineageOS to receive unofficial software updates for a few more years.
