TOWN OF LANSING (WBNG) -- Tompkins County Police say an incident involving two speeding vehicles and a gunfight early Sunday morning has left 3 injured and one dead.
Police say they received a call about a loud dispute and gunshots around 1:40 a.m. on Sunday near the 600 block of Ridge Rd. The caller said the two parties involved left the area in separate vehicles after the dispute.
Moments later, sheriffs responded to the 500 block of Auburn Rd. in the same area for a report of 2 vehicles that went off the roadway with multiple injuries.
An investigation at the scene found that those injured from the crash were the same two parties involved in the shots fired dispute.
