OLDBURY school has closed to all pupils today - shortly after closing to two year groups due to staff self-isolating.
Perryfields High put out a letter to parents today stating that it been forced to close to all pupils because it had no hot water or heating due to a boiler tank leaking diesel.
Yesterday (Monday December 14) the school sent a letter to parents stating it was closing to years eight and nine from today (Tuesday December 15) until the end of term due to the numbers of staff self-isolating.
The letter from headteacher Ian Barton states: "We are closely monitoring the absence of students and staff who need to self-isolate.
