There is a certain slickness about action films
starring Keanu Reeves that is hard to ignore or criticise. The magic started with his Matrix franchise that catapulted him into superstardom. Now, playing a retired assassin in John Wick, an American neo-noir action thriller media franchise, he is good as ever. Although the film follows a tried-and-true narrative, it is worth a watch.
In the movie, Reeves plays a man who is done with his life of crime. He has quit the
mafia to lead a quiet life, but, of course, an unfortunate incident drags him back to his old ways.
