The water quality of the Cauvery is measured by the KSPCB at three stations - Rangapattana, Ranganathhitu, and Satyagalam Bridge. The recent analysis report shows that the level of faecal and total coliform in the water body has more than doubled compared to the water quality analysis of the river during the same time in previous years.
