A North Korean health ministry official warned that Pyongyang may take countermeasures with foreign aid organizations on Tuesday over what it deemed were “utterly baseless” claims that COVID-19-related restrictions are preventing treatment of malnourished children in the DPRK.
The statement also warned South Korean media organizations and accused them of seeking to “incite north-south confrontation” by reporting on the NGO claims of malnutrition that were included in a U.N. Panel of Experts (PoE) report released last week.
