Nor'easter gives Central Mass. another reason to stay home; Worcester drops to minus 8 wind chill

An overnight storm dropped more than a foot of snow on parts of Central Mass., with heavy winds and low temperatures offering yet another reason to hunker down at home.
The deep but light snow moved easily for folks shoveling and driving plows. The trouble-maker was the wind, which created drifts on once-cleared driveways and roadways.
