Thursday’s game is another big opportunity for the Seminoles in terms of NET wins. Georgia Tech comes to Tallahassee 25th in the NET while FSU is 48th. FSU owns solid NET wins this year at Virginia Tech (27th), at North Carolina (37th) and home vs. Syracuse (42nd).
FSU’s offensive performance last game vs. Miami was pretty efficient. The four double-figure scorers for the Seminoles (Kourtney Weber: 15, Jackson: 13, Sammie Puisis: 12, Valencia Myers, 12) were their most since also having four in double digits at Virginia Tech on Dec. 31.
Over the last four games, opponents have shot just 20 percent (18-of-90) from beyond the arc. Over the first nine games, opponents were shooting 33.8 percent (48-of-142). FSU went from last in the ACC in 3-point field goal percentage defense to seventh since the start of 2021.
